Our platform includes both open source and Fair Source licensed projects, fostering collaboration and contribution across the ecosystem. With it, we enable institutions to connect to and offer financial services on Bitcoin.

We recently announced Lana, a Bitcoin-backed lending platform designed to enable financial institutions to bring bitcoin-backed loans to market quickly.

The banking platform also includes a core accounting ledger (Cala), and a payments bridge (Bria). Galoy is also the developer of the Blink bitcoin wallet and Stablesats, a method for creating stable balances using derivatives instead of tokens.

About the Role

This internship is perfect for a proactive, AI-savvy student interested in marketing, business development, and Bitcoin. You'll work closely with our leadership team to design, test, and optimize marketing content and BD outreach, leveraging AI tools to maximize efficiency and impact.

What you'll do

• Stay Ahead of Trends: Research emerging AI-driven marketing tools and Bitcoin adoption trends to inform our strategy.
• Develop & Execute Growth Strategies: Use AI-driven tools to identify opportunities, craft messaging, and automate marketing and BD workflows.
• Create & Optimize Content: Leverage AI to generate blog posts, newsletters, and social media content tailored to Bitcoin and financial technology audiences.
• Enhance Outreach & Partnerships: Use AI-assisted CRM tools to refine and execute targeted outreach campaigns to potential partners and customers.
• Analyze & Improve Performance: Track key metrics, analyze results, and iterate strategies for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Bitcoin, financial technology, and AI-driven marketing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Copy.ai, Jasper, HubSpot AI, etc.
• Ability to write compelling content and tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
• A self-starter mindset – comfortable working in a fast-moving, startup environment.

Bonus points for

• Experience with SEO, email marketing, or social media growth strategies.
• Knowledge of Bitcoin, Lightning Network, and open source software communities.
• Familiarity with banking technology.
• Spanish language skills (a plus, but not required).
